Privacy Policy

Grow Your Career (GYC) is a career development platform operating from Dhaka, Bangladesh. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right below, write to support@gycplatform.com.

When you create an account: your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored hashed, we never hold the original. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google instead.

Profile details you choose to add: phone number, university, and graduation year.

Things you upload or create: CVs and documents, resumes built on the platform, job applications, aptitude test attempts and scores, cohort and workshop enrolments, and any message you send us.

Payments: handled by our payment providers. We store the transaction reference, amount, and status. We never see or store your full card or wallet credentials.

Automatically: standard technical data your browser sends, plus analytics described below.

• To give you an account and keep it secure.
• To deliver what you asked for, CV reviews, mentorship, tests, job applications.
• To process payments and keep a record of them.
• To send service email: verification, password resets, and updates about things you signed up for.
• To understand which parts of the product are used, so we can improve them.

CV analysis and ATS scoring send the text of your CV to third-party AI providers to generate the analysis you requested. This happens only when you ask for a scan or review. We do not use your CV to train any model.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Hosting and database, to run the platform and store your account.
• File and image storage, for CVs, documents, and uploaded images.
• Email delivery, to send service messages.
• Payment gateways, to take payment and confirm it.
• AI providers, only for the CV analysis described above.
• Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel, to measure usage.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics tools that set their own cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though signing in will not work without the session cookie.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Uploaded CVs and documents are kept until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are kept as long as needed for financial and legal record-keeping.

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and its data.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

Email support@gycplatform.com and we will respond. Some records, payment history in particular, may need to be retained even after account deletion where the law requires it.

The platform is intended for university students and graduates. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
